Wooden Chair Refurb with Yellow Diamond FabricJan 23, 2013
These 2 chairs were a steal at the Thrift Store. Actually, they were already in great condition as they were when I found them. I really didn’t even have to paint them. The only reason I painted the wood is because one of my client’s liked the chairs. After some pondering, I decided to use the chairs in my client’s living room redesign and I painted the wood and reupholstered the seat to go with the color palette of the redesigned space. I used Behr semi-gloss latex paint for the wood frame and the yellow diamond fabric was purchased from The Needle Shop. My client also had a random ottoman in storage, so I refurbished that as well to complement the 2 arm chairs used in the Reading Area of this living room redesign.
